Sarju Shah is the Public Health Grants Associate for the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH). Ms. Shah is responsible for identifying new opportunities for health program growth, developing initiatives, reviewing proposals, and fostering new partnerships for DPH. Prior to this position, Ms. Shah supported the development of the Public Health Foundation of Connecticut (CT-PHF) as the Program Manager. She contributed to CT-PHF projects that foster expanded knowledge, skills and strategies around health issues and organizational effectiveness throughout the state.
Additionally, Ms. Shah is an Executive Committee member for the Connecticut Commission on National and Community Service. Here she supports the Commission's mission of building a culture of service by strengthening communities through volunteerism.
Ms. Shah graduated with an MPH from the Boston University School of Public Health.
