Mayur Patel currently works as an independent health care consultant.  He has over 15 years of experience as a healthcare planner and consultant and has conducted a broad range of strategic planning engagements, feasibility studies, and performance improvement projects for hospitals and physician groups throughout the U.S. , Eastern Europe, and East Africa .  He also has an extensive background in the assessment of emerging clinical technologies and ongoing scanning of business trends in healthcare delivery.  Mayur began his career working for the Aga Khan Health System of Paris , France .  He was located in Nairobi , Kenya and provided management and planning expertise to the Aga Khan Hospitals in East Africa .  Subsequently, he has worked for a variety of consulting firms, including Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
