In the past, SAPHA has annually hosted a Chai & Samosa Event at the Annual Meeting of the American Public Health Association (APHA). The event brings together public health professionals from across the country interested in networking and getting engaged in advancing the health of South Asians in the U.S. as well as staying connected and involved with SAPHA. 

The SAPHA's Annual Meeting typically:

    >> Presents SAPHA's newly elected Board of Directors;

    >> Shares what SAPHA has been up to, including its major activities and
          achievements;

    >> Offers an opportunity to contribute to SAPHA's future activities;

    >> Highlights new research in the South Asian public health field;

    >> Offers a unique opportunity to network and socialize with South Asian
          public health professionals and others working in the field; and

    >> Provides free chai, samosa and other South Asian treats!
