Navami Naik has over 20 years of experience working in health communications, non-profit
management and global health. She is passionate about public health with a focus on cancer prevention and early detection and has written on a variety of cancer-related topics. Navami is currently working as a Public Affairs Specialist with CDC’s Division of Cancer Prevention and Control. Her previous experience includes working as a partnerships and programs lead for the American Cancer Society, as a health communications expert advisor to the Government of India’s National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research and as a health correspondent for the Times of India, the most widely circulated English language daily in India.
When Navami is not working, she enjoys exploring new countries, cultures, and cuisines and hanging out with her husband Daryl and their fur baby Shadow.
